Slot in - these are free standing cookers at base unit level and normally incorporate a glass lid

Built in - these cookers are built into a kitchen unit. They can be single or double ovens with a grill

Eye Level - these are free standing cookers with a grill at eye level, often incorporating a warming draw at the bottom

Range style cookers - these are free standing with 2 ovens, with 5 to 6 rings, griddle and a separate grill.
